Notting Hill Carnival – the world-famous West London street party – is back in the ‘hood Sunday 29 August and Bank Holiday Monday 30 August.

Sunday (2pm–2am) The Garden Party sees King of Carnival,  Dub Pistols’ frontman Barry Ashworth joined by DJ Jon Carter’s legendary Block at The Lock and its unique blend of housey dance-floory dub-step;

You don't need mountains for snowbombing

Snowbombing favourites Cashmere Misfit and DJ Cuddles. Snowbombing will be living the powdery dream, as ever, taking their snow machine shenanigans onto the garden terrace.

PARADISE BY WAY OF KENSAL GREEN

The Nextmen

Sunday (12pm–3am) Brighton DJ/producer Adam Freeland is joined by fellow super-producers Krafty Kuts and The Nextmen to lay down fierce funk, old school hip-hop, electro, and some good ol’ house music.

Monday (12pm–3am) The Count & Sinden are showcasing their experimental sounds for the official launch of their debut clubnight-entitled album ‘Mega Mega Mega’.

The enigmatic Fake Blood will be riding high from his summer smash anthem ‘I Think I Like it’, with DJ sets from The Mystery Jets, up-and-coming dance don Redlight,  frontman of Mercury Prize-nominated the XX Jamie Smith, the marvellous Martelo and hot new talent Mele. Laying on the live music is Katy B (whose Benga-produced anthem ‘On a Mission’ is ripping through the charts), assisted by local urban lyricist Bashy.
