Kid’s Stuff: a spring pop-up shop

by Tasha on April 4, 2011

Remember that random little purple organic shop? We’re sad it’s gone but happy it’s been transformed into a beautiful local studio and gallery, Artisan…

Get full swing into spring this month at Artisan’s Easter pop-up shop Kid’s Stuff. 6–30 April; Wednesday to Saturday; 11am–5pm; Artisan, 80 Harlesden Road, NW10 2BE; General price range:  £20–£400

Find special gifts for children of all ages ‘that will thrill and be treasured for years to come’.

The ‘pop-up’ will offer an opportunity to purchase wonderful original artworks by leading children’s illustrators Clare Beaton and Lynne Moulding.  Ceramics with kids in mind by Theresa Edwards and Josephine Florent’s creative glass work brings fairies to your window!

Complementing this is fabulous craft from the Homeworks group.  Smith and Coates introduce their Spring collection for kids, Fiona Bailey’s Knit and Kaboodle kits will have you inspired to create your own garment and Janey Whitehorn’s wonderful lampshades would be the finishing touch to any room.

Situated on the corner of Harlesden and Parkfield roads, the former organic shop has been transformed into a gallery and working studio. Naomi Harrison recently moved out of her Portobello studio, after seven years, to open Artisan.
