Queens Park Harriers running club is holding a free six-week course for women in the area starting from Friday 6 May and ending on Friday 10 June…
The sessions will run from 7pm–8pm and will be based in and around Willesden Sports Centre on Donnington Road. Women taking part will be coached running on the track, in the park and on the roads and those who want to will have the opportunity to take part in a race at the end.
Whether it’s for fitness, to lose weight or because you want to get serious about running and improve your technique the club’s coaches will be there to help and they will also enjoy the support of running with others. Although it will be free to take part, places are limited as we want to make sure that everyone taking part gets the most out of it. All they do ask for is a commitment to attend for the six weeks.
The course is open to women of all ages and abilities who are interested in running or who want to start running in a group.
