Boutique bakery Local Sugar is keen to send a little sweetness to our city this week: owner Melissa Riddington is inviting Londoners to order her delights and have them delivered to zones 1–4 free of charge.
‘To bring a little smile back to our communities, I’ve popped on my Facebook page that I’ll be doing Local Sugar Drive-bys with free delivery on Mondays,’ says Melissa.
‘A Local Sugar drive-by is something I did in Seattle… you order 12 cupcakes, tell us who, where and when you’d like them hand delivered. We drop the cakes off on their doorstep, and we send them a text saying to check their front door.. as they’ve been hit with a lovely Local Sugar drive-by.’
