Good morning people of Park Life, time for my first post here…

There's an Affordable Art Fair happening at Patrick's Harvist, 45 Chamberlayne Road, in the basement gallery area. Opening night is Thursday 10th June, at 7pm, 11 vibrant artists showing their paintings, prints and such, a fine selection of work even if I do say so myself.  And if that wasn't enough there's a fine alt.folk band called The Lost Cavalry playing their delicate alt.folk music in the bar area on the opening evening when all the artists wil lbe in attendance. Expect lots of events throughout the weekend. The friendly cafe venue and the gallery. all day and late on in to the evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Entry is free, the coffee and cakes are good, so is the ine and bottled beer in the evening, be good to see some of you there…

The fair is followed by a ten day show of paintings from Sean Worrall that opens on 17th June – see here for more details

After ten years of moaning about there being very little in terms of gallery space and thing going on around Kensal Rise and Queens Park I thought it was about time I did something about it and we had some art around here rather than having to go off to Hoxton, Shoreditch and such… So i went to hire the new gallery space I'd hearrd about to put on a sohw and ended up being ask to do a bit more than just that… Lots more coming up in July and August if people want it and we can make this space work..
